If you won $100 million (tax free), how would you spend it?
The smart thing would be to invest the money, but I'm not smart and this is MY fantasy. Even though this is my fantasy I am somewhat realistic. I would pay off all school loans for kids, and all my dept. That would be first thing because the feeling of owing NOTHING would feel so good.
Now time for fun. I would be generous and give expunge $100 thousand and tell him to have a nice life.
Since my kids and their friends are into theater, I would make two separate trips to New York. They could bring any friends they wanted. On the girls trip, we would go to shows, but we would also go shopping. I would give them 24 hours to buy WHATEVER they wanted. No price tag.
For the boys we would see shows and then, we would fly to somewhere really cool in my private jet. It would be the guys choice.
My sister would never have to work again, if she didn't want to.
I was going to get a personal trainer, but I changed my mind ( too much work) . So I'll just go on one of those expensive diet plans where they deliver the food. Of course they would be delivering it to my new house, with the pool I designed myself, with water falls and lots of plants.
I would have lots of parties, where I don't need to stress out because money is no object and I have caterers and people to clean.
I would take my friends and preferred family members on lavish vacations.
I love surprising people and making them happy.
I would give to charity, but I would investigate first.
I would probably build a vocational center and give money for other services at work, but I would NEVER work there again. I would quit day one.
Speaking of work I have to go there. This blog was rushed. Maybe I'll clean it up when I get home.I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

Well Doggie! First I'd buy a mansion in Beverly Hills and hire the finest teachers for my daughter Elly Mae. Since her Ma died, she has nobody to teach her what a girl needs to know. My mother in law would move in with us. She cooks vittles like nobody's business. For deeper thoughts, I'd bring along my nephew Jethro. He's the educated one in the family. Made it clear up to the sixth grade, y'know.
The rest I'd leave in Mr. Drysdale's bank.
You couldnt have said that any better or spent it any better.
I love Andy's answer.
I would buy a new house and get a maid. A sexy butler, and a great big swimming hole in the backyard. I would have my own theater with a popcorn maker and someone to deliver it. The biggest kitchen and everyone I know would be able to come over for a nice meal. My children of course would be well taken care of and of course I would finally get my new waist line that I have wanted ever since I had the kids and maybe my upper chest redone.
It is funny how many of us would pay off bills. I told my wife we are a bunch of old people who just want to pay of bills before we think of something exciting. That means we have to do something practical even in our dreaming.
I am not sure that I ever mentioned this but your new themes looks great.
LOL at Andy's answer! My dream house would be on a lake and I'd have to have a boat and jet skis. Forget the trainer, too much work like you said. I'd go for the plastic surgery and suck my fat out!
I like your idea of getting rid of the debt first. It is a sort of "cleaning" mentality. Like "ok, let's get rid of this mess before we go & make another one" kind of thought. I would do the same.
Good plans, good ideas, I like them. Thanks for sharing.
I like your new theme!
who says your not smart, you seem pretty smart to me being that the first thing you would do is pay off debt. pretty generous too giving the ex all that money just to get him out of your house!
Sounds good to me,I know what I think I would do and I hope I would not get too selfish, that being my worst fear!!!
The first thing I would do is give my church 10 percent off the top and then all the stuff you said was pretty close to what I would do. whooo hoooo what fun that would be!! No more work and money money money for my family and friends. Could it get any better. ~Cookie~
Good answers. I like surprising people too, with gifts they didn't expect, the problem is, I never have the money for good stuff.... I also just watched the video clips below. Jennie is halarious. She's so cute!
THE PIGS.... I'm so glad we aren't into that anymore.
I would definitely pay off all of the bills and son #1's college loans. (not sure son #2 is college material yet, LOL).
I like all of your answers. It would definitely be nice to have all of my meals made and delivered.
I liked the pigs.
Now that Paris' Simple Life has been dropped you can pitch your show
Wait, which trip do I get to go on?
a good choices, I think instead of a personal trainer, or food delivered I would just have one of those Extreme Makeovers!
You really know how to dream! I rarely get very far beyond quitting work and paying off the mortgage.
