Chaz- ity Bono, Mj. Farrah and other current events.
Weekends are a crappy time to blog, because apparently people have lives. However, I have so much to say that even if I know that no one hears it, at least I said it.
Michael Jackson: Wow, I have really weird, mixed, emotions on that one. When I heard, and realized it was true, I had an odd overwhelming feeling of sadness. Weird, because I really do think he molested those boys and normally I wouldn't care if a child molester died. Maybe it's because the man was never convicted so I can't be 100% sure, or maybe it's because I felt sorry for him. It's no wonder he was so F'd up, he was basically the parents meal ticket and he just got screwed over in the life dept. I personally watched the Jackson five story several times, so I know. Sure, he seemed to have it all, but in reality all he had was tons of talent and no shrink to fix him.
And he was such an adorable little kid too. What a shame.
But yeah, he has always fascinated me with his wanting to be white and his self esteem issues and his strange and short marriage to Lisa Marie Presley, who in interviews seems kind of normal, but insists she had sex with Michael.
I wonder what will happen to his kids, who I don't think are really his. Will they be able to take their masks off now? Can someone please adopt them and NOT give them to their mother who sold them to Michael? Don't two of those kids have the same name? Yeah, that needs to be fixed right away. Who gives their kids the same name?
As far as Michael molesting the boys, I have a theory as to why I think he did it, and why I think his motivation is different than other child molesters, but that would take a long time to write, and I have other topics I need to get to.Poor Farrah, also a lost soul, and then she has the misfortune of dying on the same day as M.J and she gets lost in all the M.J mania even though I'm pretty sure she didn't molest any children. Ryan gives me the creeps though, and I don't think I would like him if I met him, but might be too star struck to tell him.
Mel Gibson is another story though, he's an anti-semitic hypocrite, I really can't stand him. Oh who am I kidding, I would probably be like " so nice to meet you Mel, congrats on the new baby, I'm not really Jewish I NEVER even go to temple."
Poor Cher. Don't even tell me you wouldn't care if your daughter was changing into a guy. But that's not the worst of it, the worst is he/she has really let herself go. Don't get me wrong, so have I, but yeah Chaz -ity loose some weight. How she/he got the cute girlfriend has to be due to money. She/he is NOT cute anymore at all. Even as a guy.
Oh Kate, bitchy, bitchy, spank your kid in public Kate. Give it up. He's done, it's so obvious. You blew it. I was a bitchy wife too ( although not as bitchy as you) and I spanked, but never in public and I wasn't on TV. Expunge didn't have hundreds of people saying I was a bitch and that I shouldn't spank my kids, and it still didn't work. Not that Jon is any great catch, nor is expunge, but you know what I mean.
Then there's the cheating Governor, which is no surprise because he's a politician, but he runs off and doesn't tell anyone? People are crazy.
I promise if I ever get money and power, I'll stay just as sane as I am. Which isn't saying much, but compared to them it's saying a lot.

You said it sister! And I want to hear your Michael theory, because I'm not sure he did do it.
I'd like to hear about hte Michael theory as well.. I htink that would be a pretty decent blog!!!...
Maybe Farrah would like it this way.. people mourning over Mike than her... that way we are more happier when we think about her and not just Oh poor Farrah... We remeber her for better things than we do Mike.. and Im sure that pleases her greatly... Gibson... well His a movie star... his a ladies man.. and his got money... what more can I say... And the SC Governor... I felt like laughing at that... But the email he sent his lady friend was beautiful atleast!!!
If you make it into money... Don't forget us little people.. Im a great cleaner... and I don't charge much... lol... you wont have to worry about cleaning...!!!!
@lizbeth62 - ok I'll call you
@ImUrKarma - really? I hate cleaning. Okay, maybe next time I'll blog about why I think Michael was a child molester, but I'll wait a bit, the guy did just die.
@momofjenmatt - Thats respectful enough to understand.. Yes I have asmall case of OCD (Thanks to gay father lol)... but I DON'T do laundry... Sorry
@ImUrKarma - I don't mind laundry, so it's all good. Although, I might drive you crazy, I'm pretty messy and unorganized.
@momofjenmatt - Thats okay.. makes it more fun for me:).. jut don't get mad if I toss something after you say you havn't used or needed it in the last year... Im known for that... but I wont touch my moms stuff.. that woman I swear married the devil when it comes to tossing her stuff... even just a box... lol..
Even though this post was not to my taste, I am leaving you a note to keep encouraging you to write. After all very seldom do people hit paydirt at every blog. Your devoted fan, PPhilip.
Yeah, it's pretty ego-maniacal for him to give BOTH his sons his name. Did you know they call the younger boy "Blanket". Yeah. I didn't know until he died, that the kids were not his biological kids. I knew they weren't conceived in the customary manner, but I still thought they were from him.
Ohhh, Chaz! I agree. He has let himself go! Badly! I can't imagine how a parent could begin calling the daughter she gave birth to, her son, or vice versa.
I just feel sorry for the kids in the Jon and Kate mess. Those 2 are about as sympathetic of figures as...well, I don't know, but they do not engender my sympathy! :-p
Farrah - I'm very sorry for her horrible battle with cancer, and I think she did more for people with her documentary and valiant struggle, than she did in her career.
So good to read your post!
Kathi
Chaz looked her best when she had a singing group. She was like a blonde Cher.
An amusing post m'dear.
)
I was shocked and really saddened about Michael Jackson because he was "the" pop star from my generation. His music crossed racial and socioeconomic lines and that meant something. Yeah, personally, he was f'ed up big time. I don't know about the molestation; I guess that's between him and God know.
Farrah, by all accounts, was a real sweet, very religious woman. She certainly was beautiful. I think I was more upset about her because of the brave and public battle she fought so hard to win.
Jon and Kate's public marriage mess just disappointed me. Just goes to show you how money corrupts people. I feel badly for those cute kids.
Remember when Chastity Bono was a little girl with her long blonde hair? She was on the Sonny and Cher show a few times. What a cutie she was! This is what I don't understand... why would a lesbian choose to be a man? I don't get it.
Mel Gibson is the biggest hypocrite I have seen in a long time.
@PPhilip - thanks? What didn't you like?
@Still_groovy - hey Kathi, long time no see. You are right on, except the kids with the same name are named after Prince ( not him) and I had forgotten the blanket thing. I did think Farrah did a great job in Burning Bed, I think if she wasn't so screwed up she could have gone much further in her acting career.
@PrincessFiveandDime - Chaz was just an ADORABLE little kid, didn't see him when he was with a band.
@HouseSparrow - thanks
@gottobereal64 - I think with "Chaz" he never was an actual lesbian. Supposedly she always felt like a boy/man. I kind of get it from watching Oprah ( ha ha ) it sort of fasinates me. But I do feel bad for Cher, she always wanted a little girl. I don't know? But that kind was ADORABLE, back in the day. As was Michael. And you're right he did So much for music.
Every once in a while, I accidentally stumble across some (other person's not yours or mine or hardly anyone we know) blog or other where the keeper of the blog says, "Gee, I can't think of a thing to write about today," and I always wonder. The newspapers are full of items. Pick any one, I think. How can there be people who can't think of a thing to write? They should emulate you.
I'm not familiar with the "Chaz" metamorphosis. I just remember the name of Chastity Bono from the old days. Jon and Kate have also escaped my attention, and I didn't know Mel Gibson has been in the news lately.
But those other folks are calling me. But time is the enemy, as usual.
I share some of your mixed feelings about Michael. Especially the negative ones. As for how talented he was, I'm from an older generation and I just never caught on to his talent. I'll take everyone's word for the fact that he had plenty of it.
Farrah, on the other hand, has entranced me, and still does, as much as anyone on the planet ever did. My first true love Marvis (since deceased) hung up a Farrah poster (yes, THE Farrah poster) on our bedroom wall, and it stayed and stayed until I wore it out looking at it. And while I felt it was true that Kate Jackson was the only one of Charlie's Angels to possess any real dramatic talent, Farrah did eventually learn how, as evidenced by her Emmy-winning performance in "The Burning Bed."
And the governor. Oh, yeah. Lucky bastard. Michael and Farrah have pushed him off the front pages.
What creeps me out is that so many of these politicians are admitting to so many scandals that it all threatens to become so commonplace as to no longer be a career-ender. That's an unsettling thought.
I don't mind that they're human. I mind that they lie and that they behave in such a way as to shortchange their constituents.
@Still_groovy - Re Farrah: I don't dispute your statement, but even before the struggle with cancer and the documentary about it -- long before, in fact -- she brought gladness and beauty into the world that still fills my heart with joy. (Part of the reason for replying here is to place a request for returning me to your protected list. Xanga would not let me message you. Either that or I can't figure out how to type a message.)
celeb news sure is full of entertainment these days!
I agree about jacko....i mean, when i was a kid i really liked him...i liked his music...but i think life and circumstances messed him up....bad....i dont think when he was young and making all his music he would ever thought he'd become a child molester, i think all the strangeness finally took over his life though.....a friend and i were arguing yesterday....she loves him...she does not think he was a child molester because of all the humane and humanitarian things he has done...i asked her how she knew he didnt do those things to make up for the guilt he felt for all the bad things he has done too...I just don't know....I too am at kind of a crossroads for how I feel aobut it...
i am soooo sick of hearing about Jon and Kate....and yeah, while Jon is no prize, she just seems like a psycho....and I am glad they were pulled from the air right now (I never watched the show even once to see what all the hype was about...)I am just SICK of hearing about it...
Poor Farrah...she was kind of just swept under the rug....tho it is her son redmond that actually gives me the creeps, not ryan....
I think my response was as long as your post:)
@twoberry - I think Michael Jackson crossed generational lines, his dancing alone was amazing, the things he could do with his body were wow! But yeah, there is always something to write on Xanga, unless nothing interests you, then I guess there is nothing to write.
@bradybunch07 - long but much appreciated. I really should put my Michael molestation theory on here, I think a lot of people will see that topic in a new light. Maybe Monday. you know I never watched jon and Kate either, but i'm kind of interested in the aftermath.
Farrah and Ed Mcman ( sp) they both got screwed. I am wondering what people will do for it's cover next week.
@gottobereal64 - If a woman "chooses" to be a man, it means she was never a lesbian, but a transgender. A wonderful book to read on this subject, but a novel, is Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. A transgender is uncomfortable in her body, usually because there is an abundance of male hormones. A lesbian enjoys being a woman, but loves other women.
Girl, you rock! I was remembering only the bad stuff about MJ, and then thought about his mother who is certainly mourning his passing and I felt guilty about not thinking of her first. I truly believe his dad was the cause of his weirdness. Now, give us your theory!
There's no reason to feel sorry for the one who dies. We mourn a passing because we miss that person or in sympathy with those who will.
@fratmom - I read Middlesex, good book.
@fratmom - that dad was horrible! I really will write my theory on Monday, but you guys better come by and read it : )

@fratmom - My bad, I thought Chastity was a lesbian.
@gottobereal64 - hey, i thought it was just me. but i don't get that about lesbians either. they don't want to be with men. but then they want to become a man. and either way, they are still into women. what would be even stranger though is if a lesbian became a man and then was into men!
(sorry Laura for using up your comment space)
i always had my doubts about Michael Jackson being a child molester because of the documentary, 'Living with Michael Jackson'. he just seemed so immature emotionally that i'm not sure he ever matured mentally past a child's age. (although i must admit i haven't been a big fan of his since all his craziness became public). it's just so sad and shocking that his life had to end this way just when he was trying to make a comeback. and it seems he never found peace.
@momofjenmatt - Here is something I just came across, which, if any of the stuff we read about him can be believed, explains the parentage of MJ's kids:
Jackson left behind three children: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, 12; Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7. The elder children were born to Rowe, while the youngest is his biological son, born to a surrogate mother.
^I didn't know that the youngest was his bio kid, and apparently the "Prince" stuff is just something they call them. LOL The article also said the kids, even the little one, know 3-4 languages.
Kathi
@coletteatsea - no problem, it's a complicated issue the gender identity thing. When you hear y theory I think you'll see that it fits in with what you said about M.J.
@Still_groovy - humm, I still don't think any of the kids are biologically his, I know he said that but I have seen pictures and they look like little white kids. Michael was not mixed he was all black so I think even to have three mixed race kids look 100 % white? What are the odds? They call the little one Blanket. Weird.
All the things you say is true, I reflect thus
