Thank You!
Sorry it took so long, but I have not been feeling up to par lately. But better late than never.
First I would like to thank my good friend Dan AKA @TheTheologianCafe for being such a good sport about my little parody of his blog. It takes a big man to be able to laugh at himself. I also thank him for moving his ass out of the number one spot and letting me have it. Yes, I did it! Thanks to

I hope I got everyone and I hope I did your name's right so you can see, I kept my promise and mentioned you in my next blog, which is this one. If it didn't link your name, I screwed up or Xanga did, but I tried.
Being number one was both thrilling and a let down. It was fun watching my name rise, then fall then rise again. But it wasn't like winning a million dollars, not that I would know what that feels like. But since I wasn't jumping up and down and screaming, I don't think it was the same. I did smile though.
What I really liked were the kind comments. Not all were kind, just 99%. You know if you were in the 1% and you suck. But I was happy most people got the humor, even though some didn't, and I had to write the disclaimer, which sort of irritated me.
All in all, it was really fun and it was great to meet new people. As I was writing your screen names down, I really READ them. For example, @dirty_sweater, interesting choice of a screen name. I mean, I'm old, maybe that's a band or something, but to my old eyes it means what it says, and I will now forever think of you needing to wash that sweater. And @manicsicko, wow, sort of scary. @dirtbubble, hummm. What to make of some of these names?
Mine is boring and obvious, I am the Mom of a Jen ( Jennie) and Matt ( matthew). But @SlackerSociety? Are you cynical?
Tell me, what do your screen names mean?
Okay, picture time. I know, exciting right? here we go,
I went to a wedding this weekend on Lake Michigan, here are some shots I got.

This was on the head table as part of the centerpeice.

Poor kid, his fingers were probably ready to fall off, it was a bit nippy.

Autumn is almost here.

Putting the Church photo back since I had to protect the blog it was in from some undesirables.

So that's it. Keep blogging. Next on Momofjenmatt, I think I am going to post a video of my interview a couple years ago with a boy from work. If you like reality TV, documentaries, or just short little blurbs of people talking to someone from the Hood, stayed tuned. If not, give it a try, it's different, I'll just say that.

Third!
I really like those pictures
And congrats on being the top on top blogs
Congrats at making your goal!
Those are some beautiful pictures
@CaKaLusa - ha ha , yeah, not gonna matter on this one. But good try. You are first of probably 5 at most, my guess.
.@firetyger - Thank you, I was so honored you all choose me over ALL the other candidates, oh wait...
@Hinase - Thank you so much, it's a semi new hobby, I'm enjoying it. And yes, even if ones goal is lame, it's still fun to try.
I applaude you ! Thanks for mentioning my name....
@locomotiv - Thank you, and of course I did, I promised for one, and you all helped with my game!
Hahahahahaha. You're so much fun.
My name, I would think, is self explanatory. I mean, after all, I am a chaotic, in your face, loud, weird person. I literally create noise for your optical nerves.
And speaking of optical nerves, I'm loving the soft focus of the sailboat picture-- that's my favorite, of this group.
@opticalnoise - Thank you ( I like boat one too, and Church) I just wing these so I get all excited when some turn out pretty. It's almost like I'm not even the one taking and playing with them, I'm like OMG, this one turned out great by accident!
Your name is NOT self explanatory, it sounds like an eye issue lol. But now that you explained, I get it.
Hope you come back for my Video expose on boy in the hood.
LOL thanx
My name, well is a nickname I have as a memeber of a Metal band, I play the bass there and we all have vampire names, mine is Corvyus, an ancient vampire.
@momofjenmatt - also, the truth is that I put "poetical license" into an anagram maker and I really really liked the sound of opticalnoise, for the reasons previously discussed. And oh yes, tag me in the thing with the boy from the hood, please? I don't want to miss that, for sure.
Nice photos! My screen name is for Amelia Earhart, for my love of travel/adventure!
The shots you got, I think they're brilliant! The last pic really caught my eyes.
I love the idea of a Beta in a centerpiece - hope it gets a good home! My favorite photo is the golden grasses with blue sky. My name is a compound latin from muris - describing or pertaining to mice and opsis - sight. Thus the name is "mouse vision" Sort of my perspective on things.
@CorvyusMorte - Very Cool and your photo is beautiful and it kind of fits.
@AmeliaHart - Yours I actually got and was excited about. Another creative name.
@RestlessButterfly - Thank you, and until I go to your site ( so tired now) your little profile photo looks pretty brilliant too. I will have to check out the bigger version
@murisopsis - Ok, now see how cool and SMART your name is. God, you people make me feel so uncreative ha ha. Like I would never think that hard, you could probably guess my password too. Thanks for the compliment on the photo.@opticalnoise - will do.
I love the photo of the tree is almost autumn. Pretty soft color.
My name is pretty self explanatory. My blog is Grannys place on the web.
You're welcome. I'm glad it worked out for you! I wrote about my screen name here. Thanks for asking!
So glad you were able to make it =D yay!!! Lovely pictures by the way... and don't worry how to you rose you can do it again... it's about word play (the unsuccessful person speaks, lol)
And I would explain my screen name but it's it is what it means
I've written about it before but it's been a long day to look for it. Have a great evening or day which ever one is closer.
thanks for mentioing me! i had no idea i was going to. i have no idea what i'm writing now but u said answe a quesion or something. oh yeah, what my screen name means. i guess self explanatory, a funky flow. except i changed the w at the end to a 3. that's it! and i guess saying congratulatinos would be nice, i saw everyone else do it! congratulations? congratulations!
My screen name is my spiritual name that I was given in India, then again, I think you read that blog. Yeah, there was nothing to criticize about that blog, I guess 1 percent of ppl will criticize anything.
From this day forward, I shall look forward to your posts. My only rule is, if you'rr going to say nice things about Danny boy, you have to mention Gravy. Mash potatoes with gravy
Let me translate: Did you find the inner meaning?
How many partners have you slept with so far?
The various most up-to-date leading moncler jacket styles during the retail outlets nowadays tend to be Accurate Religion plus 7 for many Individual race.
Nice pictures! I'm glad to hear you made your goal, and I'm glad that I could help out.
As for my name, when I came up with it I wanted it to be something intentionally melancholy and depressing for some reason. It happened to be fall at the time and the leaves were falling, and I thought the trees looked so sad without leaves. Ta-da!
a couple of those comments (and commenters) are kinda scary! thanx for mentioning me in a benign way. luv the new photos
yo momma (which I guess would be a more inventive xanga name for me than my same old, same old)
This is the first blog entry I have read from you and I am intrigued to read more.
My screen name has my last name in it with a bit of change to it. Nothing spectacular.
@Grannys_Place - Thank you, yes, your name was one that I thought I figured out too, glad I was right. I mean who knows it could have meant, some restaurant you like.
@dirtbubble - Your link didn't work. I guess it will be a mystery forever!
@pinktiger335 - Oh I understand about not looking for things and long explanations. I'll just make up my own story and it will all be good. My story is it's your favorite stuffed animal, you got from your great aunt Bessy. Kind of boring, but it's early and I have to go to work.
@funkyflo3 - well thank you! It was great being on top once, but now I am back with the little people.
@RulerofMasons - I THINK I got the inner meaning, but I probably didn't as I have been known to be wrong before. As for your question. Honey I was a 60's 70's girl, pre HIV. Get the hidden meaning of that?
@DivaJyoti - Yes, I knew about your screen name and almost mentioned it, but was tired after typing all those names lol. I think you can guess who was a bitch.
@ling11927 - OMG a homework assignment? I have no idea what that means. I'll google after work : ).
@leaflesstree - Thanks! I hope you aren't depressed like the poor nude trees all the time. I hope sometimes you feel like summer, where there are full leaves sometimes.
@dianestickler - which would be your name.
@Burghess - Thank you. I hope I live up to your expectations. As I said my next blog will be a video, but it's more interesting than this , I think. Your screen name is more creative than my mom's which is, her name ha ha, no changes. Hope to see you again.
I'd love to hear your views on my latest blog!
I've been away and stopped by to say howdy. I have most obviously missed something.......! I was most struck by one thing you said about a blog's name or what you call a screen name. Mine is vexations and I infrequently get comments saying my screen name Does Not match what I post on my site. Vexations, according to the Oxford American Writer's Thesaurus is "vexation
noun
annoyance, irritation, exasperation, indignation, anger, crossness, displeasure, pique, bile, disgruntlement, bad mood; informal aggravation."
So, I must admit that I am not what is implied by my screen name. I post photos that are seldom vexing and poems that are what I call "empathic reflections of what I perceive others express in a blog be it prose or poetic" Some people say that my renditions are on target and that I "get them." Is that helpful to anyone? Perhaps some like to feel that they are understood, others may see it as an intrusion. I'm sure this is more than you wanted to know but it was good for me to write it if for no other reason than to clarify what in the hell I am trying to do on Xanga. PS Hope you are well.....
@DivaJyoti -
I will when I get off work for sure I just figured out how to answer comments. Xanga jas an odd htlm thing and I am on my phone. So later this afternoon first thing
@vexations -
I am glad you stopped by, I am at work so it's hard to do anything here. Ita always good to examine why you're at xanga. You definatly are not
Vexing, you meet all your xanga goals above and beyond in my opinion.
@momofjenmatt - lol, no stuffed animals... I actually love white tigers but at that time it wasn't available when I was looking for screen names in college. And I really liked pink so it stayed and I eventually did find an actual pinktiger beenie baby which I bought.
@momofjenmatt - Ha! I wonder how that link got so garbled? Here is the correct link to my amazing user name story: LINK!!!
@dirtbubble - much better Thanks for the clarification
Well... dirtybubble is definitely icky.... what is that, farting underwater?
My original Xanga name was bubblysox, which was an offshoot of a friend who's name was one letter off... but when I made a new Xanga due to being "exposed" to people I didn't want knowing of my site... my public said I had to keep the "bubbly" because apparently they all think it's "me."... I'm not a bubbly person, per se, but they think I am, and I do what they say.... so bubblyslife, there ya go. Pretty self explanatory and doesn't bring to mind anything sweaty or polluted with farts.... although both have a place in my life.
@BubblysLife - ha ha, dirty bubble explained. Hey can you do me a favor and see if the video on my new blog works for you? It doesn't for me.
Thank you for mentioning my name, although it is ZSA_MD and not ZSZ. But that's ok, people who know me, know that it was a typo. They are the initials to my name.
Again, I am glad you made the goal.
