So yesterday was another party. It's amazing I'm not fat, oh wait, I am. Anyway, I was sitting next to a friend of mine and she said " I'm trying to keep the Italian beef juice off the fluff. The fluff as she calls it, is the pink fluffy stuff that's kind of like jello but fluffier.
So of course we talked about people who have one type of food touching another type of food. I thought this was just an issue for little kids or OCD people, but apparently "normal" adults have it too. My friend said she likes separator plates. There weren't any separator plates at the party, so she had to be careful. She could have used many plates, but she probably thought that would be rude.
I don't mind my food touching, but I don't like certain textures, like cooked peas and carrots, too mushy.
My friend doesn't even like to mix corn and mashed potatoes which I think is a good mixture.
I had to tell her that her fruit salad was totally touching the fluff, but I guess that mixture is okay.
Other mixtures that people liked ( except my friend who was grossed out) were dipping ones fries in a chocolate shake and potato chips on hamburgers.
I like to dip the edges of a tuna salad sandwich in ketchup, I learned that one from a friend in college.
I don't think that's popular though.
So you see where this blog is going, what are your food mixing issues? What foods do you like to mix?
The weirdest mixture will get a prize. Well not really, but you can tell me anyway.
